At Simply Dance Colchester, we believe that dance is for everyone! Our mission is to provide a welcoming environment where dancers of all ages and skill levels can flourish. From beginners to advanced performers, we invite you to explore your creativity and express yourself through movement.

From a child’s very first dance class through to advanced training, we offer fun, friendly and high-quality tuition in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Jazz, Street Dance, Acro and Pointe.

OUR CLASSES
Ballet
ages 2 years+
Ballet develops strong technique, posture, balance and musicality through graceful, controlled movement.
Tap
ages 3 years+
Tap is an energetic and rhythmic style where dancers use their feet to create sounds and patterns.
Modern and Lyrical
ages 5 years+
Modern and lyrical dance combine expressive movement with elements of jazz and ballet.
Jazz Technique
ages 9 years+
Jazz Technique focuses on developing strong kicks, leaps, turns and dynamic movement.
Street Dance
ages 3 years+
Street Dance is a fun, energetic style using current music and exciting choreography.
Acro
ages 3 years+
Acro combines dance technique with carefully taught acrobatic skills.
Pre Pointe and Pointe
ages 11 years+
Pointe is an advanced extension of ballet training for dancers who have developed the necessary strength and technique.
